Minute Maid Park is an outdoor retractable roof stadium located in Downtown Houston. The ballpark is home to MLB's Houston Astros, and was built as a replacement for the team's former home, the Astrodome. On the left-field side of the stadium is a railway to pay homage to the former Union Station, where the park is currently located. A train moves along the top of the stadium's exterior left-field wall whenever an Astros player hits a home run and when the team wins a game. When not hosting baseball games, the venue plays host to large-scale music concerts, college sports, soccer, rugby, and cricket matches.
